Case: wooden case and bracket, painted green with gold stars. heavy cast gilt bronze Ormolou.
Dial: porcelain with black numerals and black hands
Movement: Fuzee, anchor escapement and striking on two bells. One for the hours plus one to strike the coming hour at the half hour. Plays one of four tunes on the hour.

A very good example of an original 18th century Neuchatel clock with the addition of music on nine bells. Each bell has double hammers and can be made softer by moving a lever. It also has a shutoff for the music. There are two pull cords so that one can hear the hours or the music at will.
